Position available: Advocacy Services Representative/Intake

CAREER OPPORTUNITY

 

Disability Rights South Dakota currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Advocacy Services Representative/Intake in the Pierre, SD office.

Applicant must be self-motivated, have the ability to problem solve through research, demonstrate proficient writing skills, have fluent computer knowledge, and be able to communicate effectively with people with disabilities, family members, and providers. 

The incumbent should have knowledge of state laws, programs, and issues concerning persons with disabilities. Bachelor of Science degree and three to five years’ experience or a combination of education and experience may be acceptable to the hiring authority.

Position is located in Pierre, SD. Some travel may be required. A generous benefit package includes paid time off; 403(b) retirement plan; health, short and long term disability insurance; and professional development. 

Position is open until filled. Salary $37,000-$39,000 DOE.

Disability Rights South Dakota is currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Advocacy Services Representative in the Rapid City, SD office.


Applicant must be self-motivated, have the ability to problem solve through research, demonstrate proficient writing skills, have fluent computer knowledge, and be able to communicate effectively with people with disabilities, family members, and providers. 

The incumbent should have knowledge of state laws, programs, and issues concerning persons with disabilities. Have a working knowledge of the investigatory process and be able to work with people with disabilities in domestic violence shelters  Associate degree and three to five years’ experience or a combination of education and experience may be acceptable to the hiring authority.

Position is located in Rapid City, SD. Some travel may be required. A generous benefit package includes paid time off; 403(b) retirement plan; health, short and long term disability insurance; and professional development.
